FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
While searching for discounts on park tickets or hotel stays, you may have come across deals listed on our service. These prices are lower than usual, and the offers are sometimes very attractive, but this may also raise many questions that we aim to answer here.
Why should I trust your promotions?
Our goal is simple: to provide you with the best deals to save on the often high prices of parks or zoo tickets. To achieve this, several park specialists and journalists with over 10 years of experience use their knowledge to 1) identify the best promotions and 2) validate them before offering them to you. Indeed, some offers do not provide anything better than what can be found elsewhere or are false promotions. It is the expertise of our deal hunters and their critical eye on offers that makes our service unique, primarily focused on visitors!
Additionally, we clearly and automatically indicate expired promotions, whereas other services may display expired promo codes for months or years—this is not the case here!
Why are some promotions displayed in gray?
As mentioned earlier, flash sales, private sales, or promo code-based discounts are mostly time-limited, with an expiration date. We display both a countdown showing the number of days remaining before an offer expires and automatically mark the offer as “expired” when it is no longer valid. It then appears in gray. This approach allows for transparency, enabling users to compare current offers with past ones to assess their value.
Do you display the end date of promotions?
Yes, transparently and in the vast majority of cases, as soon as it is known or communicated, we display the end date of a promotion. Sometimes, either the promo code is not associated with an end date, or it is not communicated, or for certain private sales, the “stock” is limited, and the sale ends when the tickets are sold out.
Why do the prices displayed seem higher than on other sites?
We choose to display adult ticket prices rather than child prices to be honest with our readers, knowing that most visitors need to purchase at least one adult ticket. However, promotions are almost always valid for both adult and child tickets. This is clearly explained in the details of each offer, so you know if it applies to adult or child tickets.
How is the service funded?
Indeed, to cover the costs of the website, hosting, and the search for deals, as well as online publication, monitoring, and deactivating expired offers, revenue is necessary. In full transparency, we sometimes display advertisements on the pages, but we may also receive a small percentage of the price paid by a visitor when they make a purchase through one of our links. The benefit for the user is that our service is free, and the ticket or stay price is not higher because the ticket seller or travel agency reduces its margin to pay us the small percentage related to the sale.
So, if you like our service and it helps you save money, don’t hesitate to go through our pages for your ticket orders—you pay less thanks to the deals, and you help fund the site so it can continue its activity and offer you new deals.
I appreciate your service; can I help you?
First of all, thank you for appreciating the service; it was designed for you, the readers, and we are delighted if it meets your expectations. Moreover, yes, it is always possible to help us. By reporting good deals, private sales, and other promotions that we haven’t discovered yet, you can assist us. To notify us, simply write to staff(at)bestofticket.com with the expired promotion details, including the link and promotion specifics. It will then be validated by our deal hunters and posted online if it meets our transparency criteria and service/discount level.
Do you sell tickets or stays?
Not at all! Our service only provides you with the promotions and deals offered by park sites, ticketing agencies, or travel agencies. The purchase of tickets or hotel nights is then made on other sites that handle billing and ticket issuance.
I purchased a ticket or stay from you; I have questions!
Sorry, it is not possible to purchase a ticket or stay “from us.” Our service does not sell anything and does not process credit cards or other orders. It always redirects you to merchants whose job it is to send you the ordered tickets and stays after billing these products. If you have a question related to an order made or to come, they are the ones who can answer you, as they have the information regarding your order.
I manage an amusement park or zoo; I would like to be featured on your pages. How can I do that?
Send us an email at staff(at)bestofticket.com, and we will get back to you as soon as possible!
